ShoreTel Inc.’s (NASDAQ: SHOR) Technology Partner Program has certified EtherSpeak Communications’ new SIP trunking service, SureTrunk, and also the entire product line of Trapeze Networks.
SureTrunk, immediately available through ShoreTel resellers, is certified for ShoreTel’s UC system, version 8.0 and is expected to fully support future software builds. Without additional investments, hardware or new firewall/gateway requirements, SureTrunk enables ShoreTel customers of all sizes to directly connect SIP networks with traditional fixed-line PSTN.
In related news, Trapeze Networks announced its entire product line is certified through ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program as interoperable with the full range of ShoreTel's solutions, also stating that it is the first first-tier WLAN company certified by the program. The ShoreTel/Trapeze integrated, enterprise-ready VoIP/WLAN solution features Smart Mobile, WLAN architecture optimized for voice that offers Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM), 802.11e and TSPEC.
