Smoothstone Unveils Network Security Suite

Smoothstone IP Communications has launched its network security suite. The company unveiled SmoothstoneSECURE at the Smoothstone Client/Business Partner Summit held recently at the company’s corporate headquarters. 

SmoothstoneSECURE provides network firewall, spam filtering, virus and spyware protection, Web content monitoring and filtering, intrusion detection and prevention, and VPN. The suite provides a Web interface to access all of these aspects, built on Cisco, Barracuda Networks and Fortinet platforms, for united threat management.

Smoothstone charges for SECURE on a subscription basis.
