SimpleSignal Releases Hosted UC Solution

SimpleSignal has released a new hosted service that lets mobile workers listen to e-mail and manage Microsoft Outlook calendars with voice commands from any phone, including mobile devices.

The hosted UC solution, SimplyMobile, combines feature-rich hosted PBX with hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007, delivering a voice-enabled messaging solution for SMBs. SimpleSignal teamed with Chinook Hosting Corp. to provide the hosted Exchange services for SimplyMobile.

SimplyMobile translates e-mail from text to speech and allows users to call Outlook contacts via voice commands on a mobile phone. Users can change the time of a meeting in their calendar verbally and Exchange will send an e-mail notification of the change to the meeting participants.

SimplyMobile is available through SimpleSignal channel partners starting at $59.95 per user per month, including Hosted Exchange 2007 with 1GB of storage and an unlimited North American calling plan.
