ShoreTel Puts BandTel Trunking in UC Platform

BandTel LLC will integrate its SIP trunking into ShoreTel’s unified communications (UC) platform.

The Thursday announcement comes as ShoreTel continues signing technology partners that add capabilities to its UC software.

For example, DiVitas Networks agreed last month to put its mobile unified communications tools into ShoreTel’s system. Now, BandTel will do the same with its SIP trunking.

ShoreTel VARs, integrators and consultants will be able to sell the upgraded UC platform.
