Palm Keeps Getting Its Mojo Back With SDK

01/12/2009

Palm Inc. is wasting no time in jumpstarting its applications strategy for its new mobile operating system known as webOS, and for the new Palm Pre device. It has some details of Mojo, an application framework that lets developers use HTML5, CSS and Javascript tools to create applications for webOS.

Mojo is in private pre-release but will soon be made open to the public as a free download. The fruit of the Mojo will be made available via an on-device application store, newly christened the App Catalog.

Palm indicated that developers for the old Palm OS would be able to migrate their old software to the catalog.
