Mitel Channel Program Heads North

Mitel is busy wrangling Canadian business communications resellers for its newly introduced Canadian Exclusive Business Partner (CEBP) Program. Based on the Exclusive Business Partner (EBP) program in the United States, Mitel has created a tailored program offering that meets the specific requirements of the Canadian marketplace.

Industry research firm InfoTech recently recognized Mitel as the leader of the U.S. SMB IP telephony market in 2007. In Canada, Mitel holds second place in enterprise IP lines shipped in 2007. Mitel grew 8 percent in the second quarter of 2008, and holds 25 percent of customers in the sub-400 user category.
