Qwest Promotes Channel Professionals

Qwest Communications International Inc. has promoted two of its channel professionals.

Joanne Kernie now is director of marketing for alternate channels, while Amanda Jardine has taken over as manager of marketing for alternate channels. The announcement came from Tom McGrath, vice president of sales for the Business Markets Group and Sandy Spencer, regional vice president of sales for the Business Markets Group.

Qwest executives also reported John Hogan, Jim Glackin, Gerard Healy, Mindy Powers and Gene Elmore, regional directors for Qwest’s Business Partner Program, are enjoying a “banner year.” Each of their teams has charted “significant success” in their respective regions, according to Qwest.

Qwest will hold its annual Q.Marketplace event Jan. 21-23, 2009, in Denver.
