Avistar Signs First VAR for Hosted Desktop Video

Avistar Communications Corp. (AVSR) announced that Communications III (ComIII), a full-service telecommunications and video conferencing company serving 12 Midwestern states, will offer Avistar C3 Desktop videoconferencing as a hosted service to its customers.

“Communications III has been a successful Avistar partner for more than a year,” explained Darren Innes, general manager, worldwide sales at Avistar. “This agreement signifies a deepening of our relationship and marks the first time one of our partners will serve as a host to our award-winning desktop videoconferencing technology.
