Avistar, Logitech Sign Technology Agreement

Avistar Communications Corp. (AVSR) has entered into a technology agreement with Logitech, providing for Avistar's technology to be integrated into Logitech's video communications services while extending Avistar intellectual property licensing to Logitech.

"Logitech designs products to enhance the consumer's experience with video communications. It has a global presence in more than 100 countries. This agreement will help increase the rate at which Avistar technology is adopted globally while creating what we feel will be an important partnership for the industry," said Simon Moss, CEO of Avistar.

This deal follows similar deals Avistar made last year with IBM and LifeSize Communications.
