Whaleback Names VP of Sales

Whaleback Systems has appointed Todd Hussey to vice president of sales and he will be responsible for building out sales distribution channels for the CrystalBlue Voice Service, the company said.

Hussey will expand the current reseller channel with a mix of interconnect and data VARs, network integrators and IT outsourcers to drive continued revenue growth for Whaleback, the company said.

Hussey has more than 20 years of sales management experience. His technology background includes voice (TDM and IP-based), video (video conferencing systems), data networking (network, systems and applications management software) and VoIP.

He joins Whaleback from VoIP network management solutions vendor Viola Networks, where he was vice president of North American sales. He has also worked for Adlex Corp., Silverback Technologies Inc., Concord Communications Inc., PictureTel Corp. (now Polycom) and Fujitsu Business Communications.
