Calence Achieves Cisco Advanced Provider Status

Calence LLC said Monday it has achieved TelePresence Advanced Technology Provider status from Cisco Systems Inc. This designation is by invitation only and recognizes Calence for having the capabilities necessary to deliver the TelePresence platform, the company said.

Cisco TelePresence Meeting is a new product that creates live, "face-to-face" meetings over an IP network. Cisco said TelePresence makes it feel like meeting participants are in the same room together.
