NextWeb to Resell First Avenue’s Services

NextWeb Inc., California’s largest fixed-wireless ISP for businesses, has signed on to resell First Avenue Networks Inc.’s wireless services.

NextWeb said the deal will allow it to reach underserved areas of the metropolitan wireless and Ethernet markets, particularly in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area.

"As a carrier's carrier, creating reseller partnerships is a key component of our strategy to leverage our spectrum across complementary markets,” said Michael Gallagher, president and CEO of First Avenue Networks.

NextWeb is a wholly owned subsidiary of Covad Communications Group Inc.
