Raindance Chooses Logitech Webcams

Raindance Communications Inc. (Booth 105), a provider of integrated Web and audio conferencing services, has forged a strategic alliance with Logitech, a desktop Web camera provider, to deploy multipoint, desktop Web and video conferencing to business people across the country.

Two promotional packages are available, both combining business-

quality Web cameras with Raindance’s integrated audio, Web and video conferencing service, Raindance Meeting Edition.

The first package is priced at less than $100 and will be available at all 538 SAM’S CLUB membership warehouses in the United States. It includes a Logitech QuickCam Orbit camera and a free Raindance Meeting Edition person-to-person Web conferencing account.

The second package, starting at less than $400, will be sold through major direct resellers such as CDW, Insight and PCMall. It includes a five-pack of Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 cameras and a five-user, full-featured trial version of Raindance Meeting Edition with 600 free minutes of audio conferencing.

Both packages were scheduled for sale beginning in late July.
