Optivon Launches Advanced Call Management Services

08/31/2004

Optivon is rolling out its suite of Advanced Call Management services for U.S. businesses at The Channel Partners Conference & Expo, where the company also is an event sponsor.

According to the company, Advanced Call Management Services combines Optivon’s expertise in personally assisted calls with a VoIP platform and friendly technology for unified management of voice mails and e-mails.

“A missed call is a missed opportunity. Optivon connects important calls and messages to important people-wherever they may be,” explains Luis G. Romero, president and CEO of Optivon. “To make sure vital messages always get through, our applications integrate rules-based-routing for calls with live telephone answering for priority callers or after-hours calls.”

Optivon’s suite of services, which have passed pre-launch testing with businesses in San Juan, Puerto Rico, includes Unified Communications, Personal Agent, Service Dispatch, Remote Receptionist and Contact Center functionality. All are enabled through Web-based portals using a voice-over-IP platform.

Service Dispatch features a service ticket reporting system, and Contact Center includes a sophisticated customer relationship management system.

Romero says Optivon will rely on agents and resellers as its primary marketing channels. “Optivon opens the door to a world of business opportunities for all involved,” he said. “The infrastructure is in place. Deployment is rapid. The commissions are excellent. We’re seeking a handful of master agents and resellers who want to be in the vanguard of the next great growth stage in business communications.”

Optivon is co-sponsoring the continental breakfast today at the Channel Partners Expo and will host an invitation-only cocktail reception and live demonstration of its services at the Hilton tonight.
