DiVitas Networks Joins ShoreTel Technology Partner Program

DiVitas Networks is partnering with ShoreTel Inc. to integrate the DiVitas Mobile UC platform with ShoreTel’s distributed UC system.

DiVitas has partnered with ShoreTel to deliver a mobile extension capability over Wi-Fi and cellular networks, and to expand on ShoreTel’s mobile offerings. The DiVitas Mobile UC product is installed as a mobility server overlay within the business. The ShoreTel platform collaborates with DiVitas supported Windows Mobile and Symbian smartphone handsets to extend the telephony access capability beyond the office over any mobile network - cellular, Wi-Fi or both.

The DiVitas Mobile UC solution grants end users continuous accessibil-ity by relying on a single smartphone for wirelessly placing and re-ceiving calls as a ShoreTel Off System Extension. The DiVitas solution enables roaming between Wi-Fi and cellular networks resulting in decreased user call response times and increased mobile associate productivity, said the companies.
