Channel Director Leaves New Edge Networks

Bruce Barnes, former director of channel programs at New Edge Networks, left the company to take a position with Qwest Communications International Inc. In his role as sales manager at Qwest, Barnes will not be involved in the Qwest Business Partner Program.

“In early December, we hired Bruce Barnes to manage a team of sales representatives that deliver the Spirit of Service every day to business customers in the Portland area,” said Chris Parsons, director of sales, business markets group at Qwest. “Based on Barnes' experience, he is an asset to our team and will continue to help Qwest meet and exceed customer expectations.”

New Edge Networks declined to comment on Barnes’ departure.
