US Signal Expands Ethernet over Copper Footprint

08/18/2008

US Signal (Booth 3054) announced at the Fall 2008 Channel Partners Conference & Expo it is expanding its Ethernet over copper footprint in the Midwest.

Plans call for the addition of four markets by year-end to complement US Signal’s current EoC footprint in Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Madison, Wis.

EoC offers customers access to a cost-effective solution for bandwidth needs between 3mbps and 10mbps and can be used with US Signal’s dedicated Internet, MPLS VPN and virtual Ethernet services products.

In addition to EoC, US Signal provides Ethernet connections to customers using Ethernet over T1 and DS3 (EoTDM), Ethernet over SONET, partner Ethernet networks, fiber builds and direct carrier hotel or colocation hand-offs to the network.

“The ability to mix and match any of the available Ethernet access technologies in metro areas and also across our long-haul network brings unique product solutions to our customers,” said Kirk Dombek, director of product management.
