Channel Partners: TouchTone Unveils SpeakEZ Plan

TouchTone Communications (Booth 1600-1602), a nationwide reseller serving residential, business and government customers, now offers wireless subscribers SpeakEZ, what it claims is the first-ever true pay-per-minute wireless service plan.

Available in the 48 contiguous states, SpeakEZ costs $9.99 per month and 10 cents per minute or per text. SpeakEZ also includes free features, such as voice mail, call waiting and caller ID.

“Unlike some service providers, customers never lose or pay for minutes that they don’t use,” said Scott Croker, its director of product development. “The SpeakEZ is the first true pay-per-minute wireless plan in the industry.”

SpeakEZ customers that use 23 minutes in a particular month will be charged $9.99 plus $2.30, or $12.29 for their total monthly service and usage charge. Accordingly, if they use 60 minutes, they will be charged $15.99, and for 90 minutes only $18.99. SpeakEZ is available with a full-featured device (PDA, smartphone or Blackbery) or the no-frills UTStarcom Coupe 8630, a simple and easy-to-use phone with a large key pad and screen, three onetouch speed-dial keys, a 911 button and hearing-aid capability; the phone does not include a camera, games or the Internet. Additional individual and business share plans also are available to accommodate different voice, data, text and international needs.
